Namun, versi lain menyebutkan ketika Axl Rose dan temannya sedang dalam perjalanan naik bus ke New York, lalu bertemu dengan gelandangan dan mereka diteriaki, “You know where you are? You're in the jungle baby; you're gonna die!”.
